High mountains: map

After completion of the 6000 m peak list, the complete list comprises more than 14000 summits; map representation works only for up to 5000 waypoints.
Therefore I have separated the data by regions. You can view A comprehensive view over several ranges can be accomplished by viewing mountains around a given geographic longitude. The map shows all mountains within ±1 degree of longitude, from the (rounded) given longitude:
7 shows all between 6 and 8° east, correspondingly e.g. 9.
This representation is only useful in Asia, i.e. between 70° and 103° east: 70 71 72 73 74 75 76 77 78 79 80 81 82 83 84 85 86 87 88 89 90 91 92 93 94 95 96 97 98 99 100 101 102 103
Navigation and better methods for data selection are in progress!
The maps show some simplified mountain range limits; these are not yet finished.
You can open the details about the mountain list in a separate window. There you find deinitions of some important terms, details about my approach to find all summits, an some statistics.
